Great Music Video

Check out this super clever little art/music video. The artist created a mosaic of video frames and has the same performer in each frame performing a choreographed dance together with themselves. Hard to explain...but fun to watch.

Dr. Bronner’s Magic (Crazy) Soap

For anyone who's looked closely at the labels on his eponymous soap, it won't come as much of a surprise that Dr. Bronner was briefly committed to a mental institution. A new documentary explores the story behind the soap. (h/t VSL)

Super addictive little game

Desktop Tower Defense is the most addictive computer game I've played since I discovered Command and Conquer my freshman year of college (h/t kottke).

Microsoft Surface Parody Video

"One day your computer will be a big-ass table." Check out this great parody video; go here to see the original ad from Microsoft.

Bloomberg is no longer a Republican

Oh, joy. New York City no longer has to live with the shame of having a Republican mayor, as Bloomberg officially aligns his party affiliation with his actual politics.

Trailer for P.T. Anderson's new film "There Will Be Blood"

Here's the first trailer for P.T. Anderson's new film, "There Will Be Blood." The movie, based on the Upton Sinclair story of the same name, is due in theaters around Thanksgiving.

Meet Edward Tufte

If you don't already know who Edward Tufte is, here's a great little article from New York Magazine about this icon of information design.

Radiohead's OK Computer is 10 years old

Radiohead's album OK Computer was released on June 15th, 1997. Here's the video for "Paranoid Android."

Songs of the Summer

WNYC profiles this year's contenders for "Song of the Summer." You can watch the video for each song; my favorite has got to be Brooklyn native Lil Mama's jam, "Lip Gloss." Lil Mama's lip gloss is both cool and poppin'. As a bonus, who could forget this one from the summer of 1992? "Jump" by Kris Kross

Michael Cera's Online Video Series

Michael Cera has "this feeling that there's this whole undiscovered, untapped market of shows that aren't about forensic scientists or police officers or school teachers or some such shit." And the former "Arrested Development" co-star, and "Superbad" lead, is doing something about it. Cera and his friend Clark Duke are producing this very funny and very dry online mockumentary series about the duo trying to sell a tv show.
