Generation 2.0

Why don't we refer to the tech-savvy wi-fi enabled generation that created YouTube and Facebook as Generation 2.0? Or maybe it should refer to the teenagers who are growing up on this technology? (maybe someone else has already suggested this, but I think that I just thought of it)
