Iran Countdown

As rumors abound about the possibility of the Dems taking back one or both houses of congress in November, I'm wondering what the near fate of the administration's Iran policy is? It certainly isn't new to wonder if the administration is actually foolish enough to take premature military action; retired Col. Sam Gardiner is convinced that it has already begun [link]. But, I wonder if the administration will open up an all out military offensive as an October surprise to try to take advantage of the incomprehensibly difficult position it will put congress in?
