Desire Paths: Branding for Digital Lives (Presentation)
Here's the presentation I've been kicking around for the past couple months. Special thanks to Bud Caddell, Eric Tabone, and the rest of the crew at Undercurrent for helping me to figure this stuff out.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Please share.
Also, thanks to these fine folks. I’ve been reading these blogs religiously for years, and their thoughts have surely inspired my own on this subject.

Caveat: I know I emailed these thoughts to you already, but I figured they're better served by the open forum.
Definitely digging the presentation. Nice work. I've been a fan of the idea of desire paths for some time. Used them in a new business pitch once to describe a better way to design user experiences...you know, acknowledge the fact that people will do what they want to do, they're going to get to your site in a number of different ways, and design for that.
One of the exciting things for me right now is the challenge that businesses face online, especially in regard to getting people to actually do something that impacts their bottom line. I think there's an intersection between these closely related paths that could really be cool.
Y'all keep on killing it with the decks, now, ya hear? Again, nice work.
Good comments. What's with the Flash pester window wanting me to accept storage of content from quantserve, slideshare and clearspring?
lovely stuff mate!
